Epilogue
As I was writing the Private Numbers story for my website, I was trying to come up with a suitable ending to my last band that had the last, best chance to “make it big” in the music business. I was reminded of a conversation I had with a friend a few weeks after I had retired from the music business and moved back to Charlotte.
My friend asked, “Have you had a chance to process the fact idea that now you’ll never 'make it really big' in the music business?” The answer I gave him then still applies to how I feel today.
“Well, I made it 'really medium' in the music business. I've got a great life, two amazing daughters and I've still got the girl. What else do I need?”
